A Metabo Slicer Plus Cutting Wheel is a cutting disc made of aluminum oxide and coated with ceramic that is designed to cut hardened metals including carbon or stainless steel, high tensile and hast alloys, Inconel, and titanium in construction applications. It has an extremely fast cutting rate and turns as fast as 12225 maximum RPM.

It features a super thin blade designed for use on a corded or cordless grinder. The thin wheel assures fast cutting and the special bond on the wheel assures longevity and safe performance.

It is excellent for severe applications when extreme work is needed to cut thick stainless steel, alloys, chromes and other extremely hard metals.

There are many low cost cutting wheels available. However, none perform like the Metabo Slicer Plus Wheel. That’s because it is designed and manufactured to last for a long time. Workers don’t have to stop in the middle of a job to change wheels due to wear. That assures that more time is invested in performance.

The wheel is also designed to be safe to use. Cheaper cutting wheels can break apart during operation that can result in injury to the workers. This never occurs with the Metabo Slicer Plus Cutting Wheel.

Eleven wheels are available in various sizes including:

  • A 0.187 thick, 20-inch diameter wheel with a 1-inch bore that has a maximum speed of 3000 RPM
  • An 1/8-inch think, 9-inch diameter wheel with 7/8-inch bore and maximum speed of 6600 PRM
  • A 1/16-inch thick, 9-inch diameter wheel with a 5/8-11-inch bore and maximum speed of 6600 RPM
  • A 1/16-inch thick, 7-inch diameter wheel with a 7/8-inch bore and a maximum speed of 8500 RPM
  • A 0.045-inch thick, 4-inch diameter wheel with a 5/8-inch bore and a maximum speed of 15000 RPM
  • A 0.045-inch thick, 4-1/2-inch diameter wheel with a 7/8-inch bore and a maximum speed of 15000 RPM
  • A 0.045 thick, 6-inch diameter wheel with a 7/8-inch bore and a maximum speed of 10200 RPM
  • A 0.045 thick, 4-1/2-inch diameter wheel with a 7/8-inch bore and a maximum speed of 13300 RPM
  • A 0.045 thick, 6-inch diameter wheel, with a 7/8-inch bore and a maximum speed of 10200 RPM
  • A 0.045 thick, 5-inch diameter wheel with a 7/8-inch bore and a maximum speed of 12225 RPM

The tool is ideal for steel, mechanical, and electrical construction applications.
