Abrasive & Fastening Solutions Inc. is proud to offer a wide selection of thin cutting wheels, flap discs, sanding discs, gas powered cutting wheels, and grinding wheels.  We offer a variety of manufacturers to help you select the best product for your application. Some name brands currently stocked are Arc Abrasives, Pearl Abrasives, Metabo Abrasives, PFX, and CS Unitec!  We carry grinding wheels, flap discs and resin fibre sanding discs designed to grind or polish Ferrous Metals, Iron, Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and other High Tensile Alloy Steels. Are most popular thin cutting wheels are designed for Long Life and Cool Cutting on Steel, Stainless Steel, and Non-Ferrous Metals.  We test these products in house to make sure of the quality that you expect as our customer! Most wheels and discs are offered in 4-1/2″, 5″. 6″, 7″, and 9″ diameter and are specifically designed for particular applications.

Aluminum Oxide is offered as an economical approach to grinding Ferrous Metals, Iron and Steel.  This blend of material creates a Good aggressive approach to removing material and can be very price driven. Ziconia blended wheels offer a cool cutting which allows you to work Better on Ferrous Metals, Iron, Steel and Stainless Steel.  Zirconia will tend to cut faster and last longer than your standard aluminum oxide products. Ceramic blended products offer the most state of the art wheels in today’s marketplace. Ceramic blended products are about five times the lif of a zirconia blended wheel and offers the fastest material removal available!

You might have the nicest belt sander in the world, but that won’t help you finish metal products. To create a good workshop, a variety of abrasive products is the key solution. Choosing the right abrasive products can mean the difference between a finished job and a job that still needs some work done. We sell two types of flexible grinding wheels that can polish your metal tubing to shiny perfection.

Our flexible grinding wheels can give any metal a nice look

The type-27 flexible FAC grinding wheel comes in two different sizes. The smaller wheel will not cover as much ground as the larger one, but it will give you better control. This is nice for tubing metal. The small wheel measures 4-1/2″ x 1/8″ x 7/8″. The larger version measures 5″ x 1/8″ x 7/8″. This tool can grind and finish at the same time. When your production rates are already slipping, these can save you precious time. These tools do not require any loading or glazing, either. Both wheels have available grits ranging from 36-80 densities. Get a variety of grinding discs so you can always have one on hand.

Plantex Flap Discs

If you are looking for a safer work atmosphere, check into our plantex flap discs. These are made from a backing plate which is made from pure HEMP. Polypropylene is then used to bind it to the wheel. Not only will you be safer using a tool like this, your workbench and products will be as well. There are no fiberglass or epoxy resins to worry about with these types of discs. They can be repaired as well as any other type of disc. Just check out our variety of disc sizes to pick the right one for your shop. We have some special cool top discs that are fantastic for stainless steel applications. They will not leave burn streaks on your finished products.
